1. Excellent material properties
     Elevator guide rails are usually made of high-quality carbon steel (such as Q235, Q345) or alloy tool steel, with a tensile strength of 450-600 MPa and a yield strength of ≥ 235 MPa. They can withstand the vertical gravity of the car, counterweight, and load, as well as the dynamic impact force during start stop.
     The cross-section of the guide rail (such as T-shaped and L-shaped) is designed as an I-shaped or groove shaped structure. By optimizing the inertia moment of the cross-section, the anti bending and anti torsion capabilities are improved to prevent the deformation of the guide rail from causing elevator jamming or derailment.

      Standard guide rails can carry a weight of 2000-5000 kg (depending on the model), while thick guide rails are used for high-speed elevators or heavy-duty scenarios (such as freight elevators), with a bearing capacity of over 10 tons, to meet different load requirements.

It is achieved through precision rolling or grinding technology to ensure the guiding accuracy during the operation of the car (shaking amount ≤ 1 mm).
     The height difference at the joint of the guide rail is ≤ 0.03 mm, and the gap is ≤ 0.5 mm. Precise docking is achieved through mortise and tenon structures or connecting plates to reduce vibration and noise during operation (high-speed elevator noise ≤ 55 dB).

      The surface roughness of the working face reaches Ra 1.6~3.2 μ m, which is close to a mirror effect. The friction coefficient with the guide shoe (sliding or rolling guide shoe) is low (sliding guide shoe friction coefficient ≈ 0.02~0.05), reducing operating resistance and improving ride comfort.

     The cross-sectional shape of the guide rail (such as T75, T89, T127, etc.) and the installation hole position are standardized to adapt to different specifications of guide shoes and brackets. During installation, they can be quickly fixed to the guide rail bracket through expansion bolts or welding, shortening the construction period.

     The surface of the guide rail is usually quenched (with a hardness of HRC 30-40) or galvanized for anti-corrosion treatment, with a wear resistance life of more than 10-15 years. It is only necessary to regularly clean the contact surface between the guide shoe and the guide rail in daily life, reducing the lubrication frequency (lubricating the sliding guide shoe 1-2 times a year).
